Associate, Demand Planning

About the role

Join foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, as an Associate in Demand Planning. You will be responsible for creating replenishment plans and supporting supply chain operations to ensure product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell‑out, and forecast.
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings and adjust forecasts accordingly.
• Calculate supply plans using generated demand forecasts.
• Maintain healthy inventory in distribution centers and stores, meeting target days cover and availability goals.
• Coordinate with commercial teams and suppliers to align deliveries and drive fulfillment performance.
• Monitor supplier issues, escalating when necessary to ensure product availability.
• Identify slow‑moving SKUs and flag them for action.
• Support cross‑functional projects and resolve issues as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers or e‑commerce marketplaces is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup).
• SQL.
