Associate Finance Executive

About the role

An organization is looking for an Associate Finance Executive to support its day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The role involves keeping accurate financial records, helping with payment processing, supporting reconciliations and making sure financial transactions are properly documented. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and able to work well with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting entries in the system.
• Assist in preparing invoices, vouchers and supporting documents for payments.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks under supervision.
• Perform bank, vendor, payroll and intercompany reconciliations and report discrepancies.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Support senior team members in preparing reports and data.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on routine accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to keep financial information confidential.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance function.
