About the role

The Associate Telecom Engineer supports Central Genesys cloud/telephony operations for IBEX Global contact centers, acting as the primary point of contact for telephony issues and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

Configure, set up and deploy Genesys Cloud contact center solutions.
Serve as point of contact for Tier‑2 and Tier‑3 telephony issues, troubleshooting operational problems and ensuring SLA compliance.
Coordinate tasks with global technical teams, manage change requests, and document system and client configurations.
Support telephony projects, meet milestones, and provide status reports.

Required profile

Engineering graduate or BS degree in IT/Telecom.
Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and follow cybersecurity best practices.

Required skills

Genesys Cloud platform administration and troubleshooting.
VoIP and SIP protocol knowledge.
Contact center operations and configuration.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles related to telephony data.
