AWS Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer (L1/L2) – 24x7 MSP

About the role

We are looking for an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer (L1/L2) to join our Managed Services team. You will provide 24x7 operational support for multiple clients, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of their AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor AWS infrastructure with CloudWatch, Datadog, Nagios and respond to alerts in a 24x7 shift model.
• Perform initial triage, execute runbooks, and handle basic troubleshooting of EC2, EBS, ELB/ALB, RDS, IAM and networking issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation and maintain incident logs in ServiceNow/Jira.
• Conduct deep‑dive troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and provide work‑arounds for advanced AWS issues.
• Support and configure core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda).
• Assist with performance tuning, scaling, and post‑deployment validation.
• Automate routine tasks using Shell, Python or AWS CLI scripts and collaborate with DevOps teams.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in AWS L1/L2 support.
• Ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under production pressure.
• Good communication for incident reporting and escalation.
