About the role
We are looking for a Blood Bank Supervisor to lead the daily administrative and operational activities of our hospital’s blood bank. The role involves overseeing staff performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and acting as a key liaison between the laboratory, hospital management and local authorities.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily administrative operations and monitor staff performance.
- Oversee laboratory processes, manage blood bank expenses and ensure adherence to quality control policies.
- Prepare work schedules, train new employees and coordinate staff development.
- Address and resolve queries, issues and complaints from staff, patients and employees.
- Liaise with hospital management and local administration on operational matters.
- Prepare timely reports and maintain accurate records in line with established procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
- 3–4 years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare or laboratory setting.
- Experienced professional with strong organizational and communication abilities.
