Business Analyst

About the role

A Business Analyst position based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The role bridges business and technical teams by analysing problems, defining requirements and supporting Agile delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business problems, root causes, assumptions, risks and dependencies.
• Gather, validate and document business and functional requirements.
• Prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, functional specifications and wireframes.
• Analyse As-Is processes and recommend To-Be workflows.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and coordinate between business and technical teams.
• Support Agile activities such as backlog grooming, sprint planning and requirement tracking.
• Evaluate system integrations and process impacts at a basic level.
• Support UAT and verify that delivered solutions meet business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Business Administration, MIS or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, process analysis, software projects, internships or academic projects; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, documentation and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria and use cases.
• Basic knowledge of Agile, SDLC, business process mapping and functional/non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with UAT, testing concepts, basic data analysis, APIs and system integrations.
• Jira and basic Figma are preferred.
