Business Analyst – Software Development Projects

About the role
The Business Analyst will work closely with clients, product owners, developers and QA teams to translate business objectives into clear user stories and functional specifications for software development projects.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, validate and document business, functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, SRS and detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritize items and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, clarifying requirements throughout development and testing.
- Develop workflow diagrams, process models and use cases, and recommend technology‑driven process improvements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing, validate delivered solutions and assist with defect triaging.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software house, IT services, SaaS or product development environment.
- Strong analytical, documentation and communication abilities.
- Experience supporting pre‑sales activities such as RFPs and client presentations.
