Business Consultant – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Business Consultant to join a global information services leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on analysing client operations, identifying inefficiencies and delivering data‑driven improvement plans that boost performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose operational bottlenecks through data analysis and stakeholder interviews.
• Develop and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership, aligning with business goals and best practices.
• Design and implement process improvements, including workflow redesign, automation opportunities and performance metrics.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses to support strategic decision‑making and growth initiatives.
• Document findings in clear reports and presentations for executive audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in management consulting with a focus on process optimisation and operational efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong project management capability and ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience using SQL to query and analyse client datasets.
• Ability to create visualisations and dashboards in Tableau.
