Business Development Executive

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Business Development Executive to join our team in Lahore. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and manage sales pipelines, and support revenue growth across key markets for iris, a consumer insights company.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential clients and qualify leads.
• Conduct outreach through calls, emails and meetings to present iris’ services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and negotiate terms.
• Ensure smooth handover to account management for ongoing client relationships.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and track performance metrics.
• Provide market feedback to support strategy and service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong new‑business development and lead‑generation skills.
• Solid business acumen and understanding of market dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with confident client‑facing interaction.
• Account‑management capability to nurture long‑term partnerships.
• Proven experience in business development, sales or related roles, preferably in research, insights, marketing or consulting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑changing, digital‑first environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Comfort with CRM tools, sales productivity software and basic data analysis.
