About the role
We are seeking a fresh Upwork Bidder to join our business development team and help secure new projects through freelance platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities on Upwork and other freelance platforms.
- Write customized, winning proposals aligned with client requirements and agency expertise.
- Communicate with clients via messages and calls to understand project needs.
- Collaborate with the technical team to estimate timelines and prepare competitive bids.
- Maintain consistent follow‑ups with leads to maximize conversions.
- Track and report bidding performance, conversion ratios, and market trends.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through professionalism and trust.
- Work with management to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required profile
- Basic understanding of Upwork bidding and business development in an IT or software company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
