Business Development Manager – Corporate Sales

About the role

EMS Events and Tours is looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to expand its corporate client base for events, tours and hospitality services in Karachi. The role involves generating new opportunities, presenting tailored solutions and converting prospects into long‑term partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research new business opportunities and potential corporate clients.
• Contact prospects via calls, WhatsApp, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Schedule and conduct client meetings and business presentations.
• Understand client requirements and propose suitable consultancy solutions.
• Maintain regular follow‑ups, move leads through the sales pipeline and close deals.
• Negotiate terms and secure contracts.
• Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with existing and new clients.
• Prepare and maintain a pipeline of leads, meetings and conversions.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Explore new industries, companies and market segments for growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Tourism, Hospitality or related field (preferred).
• Relevant experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Corporate Sales, Event Sales, Travel Sales or Client Acquisition.
• Proven ability to generate leads, arrange meetings, prepare proposals and close deals.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Strong client‑dealing and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently under sales targets and performance‑based KPIs.
