Business Strategy Manager – Banking (Islamabad)

About the role

Our client, an upcoming commercial Islamic bank in Islamabad, is seeking a Business Strategy Manager with at least five years of banking experience. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role is hands‑on, driving the creation of business cases, financial models and board‑level presentations to support growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses for strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with the CEO to craft, refine and present comprehensive business cases and strategic plans.
• Coordinate external consultants to deliver market research, competitive analysis and feasibility reports on schedule.
• Conduct market and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends.
• Prepare and deliver clear presentations to the board and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, ensure alignment with strategic objectives and update plans as market conditions evolve.
• Track key business metrics and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in the banking sector.
• Strong analytical and project‑management capabilities.
• Proven ability to understand and synthesize complex financial models.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
