Buyer – Procurement (APAC)

About the role

This role delivers day‑to‑day purchasing operations for DHL Group across the globe, using e‑purchasing tools and supporting business divisions from requisition to purchase order.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes in line with sourcing, purchasing and corporate policies.
• Collect, maintain and report data on rates, catalogues, supplier performance and purchase order administration.
• Drive tactical purchasing for non‑catalogue requisitions, including bid analysis, supplier selection and order follow‑up.
• Provide first‑level support for e‑purchasing issues and master data changes.
• Prepare and monitor tenders, negotiations and supplier management, and generate reporting for catalogue improvements.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship, university degree or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably P2P operations.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Good negotiation skills and knowledge of purchasing practices.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP and/or Oracle.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP).
• Knowledge of VBA, macros and PowerBI is advantageous.
