Cash Management Officer – Banking Operations

About the role

The Cash Management Officer will oversee cash transactions at the branch, ensuring accuracy, compliance and high customer satisfaction. This position reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with other banking staff to maintain smooth cash operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer cash withdrawals and deposits within assigned limits.
• Sort and manage cash according to the clean‑note policy.
• Accept and process inward and outward clearing instruments on the bank’s system.
• Reconcile daily cash balances by comparing system reports with physical vault registers.
• Secure branch vault and shutter keys, controlling access.
• Arrange and deliver collaterals linked to closed accounts.
• Perform daily reconciliation of Easy Paisa Merchant Portal and UBP transactions.
• Ensure compliance with prudential norms, KYC guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Act as backup for the Customer Service Officer and Operations Manager as needed.
• Assist the Operations Manager with miscellaneous operational tasks and maintain ICFR records.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in cash handling and reconciliation.
• Detail‑oriented with strong compliance and risk‑management mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with branch staff without direct supervisory responsibilities.
• Commitment to the bank’s values and professional conduct.

Required skills
