About the role

Elite Technologies is seeking an on‑site Cashier for its Karachi Division. The role involves managing daily cash register operations, processing various payment methods, and ensuring accurate transaction records.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments.
• Issue receipts and maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.
• Reconcile all transactions at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
• Address customer inquiries related to billing or payments promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and procedures.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and presentable.
• Escalate issues or discrepancies to the supervisor as needed.
• Collaborate with front‑desk and finance teams to support smooth store or office operations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to handle cash, process payments, and operate a point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Basic numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities for cash reconciliation.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain confidentiality, and uphold company policies.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience as a cashier, teller, front‑desk, or retail role is preferred.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic computer literacy, including use of POS systems, email, and spreadsheets; experience in a technology or services environment is an advantage.
