Chemistry Teacher

About the role

AlMueen School in Gujranwala is looking for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join its full‑time academic staff. The role involves delivering engaging chemistry lessons to secondary‑level students, fostering a strong scientific foundation through clear instruction and hands‑on laboratory work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver chemistry lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
• Explain chemical concepts, equations, laboratory procedures and scientific principles in an accessible manner.
• Prepare demonstrations, experiments, worksheets, assessments and other instructional materials.
• Supervise laboratory activities, ensuring safety, cleanliness and proper chemical handling.
• Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, practical work and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate academic records and communicate progress or concerns to parents and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, school events and other academic activities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and secondary‑level science curricula.
• Ability to deliver clear, engaging lessons using demonstrations, experiments and differentiated instruction.
• Competence in lesson planning, classroom management, assessment design and grading.
• Understanding of laboratory safety, chemical storage and risk awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Urdu.
• Patient, organized, approachable and committed to supporting diverse learning needs.
