Chemistry Teacher (SSC & HSSC) - Jamshoro

About the role

Pak Turk Maarif International Schools & Colleges is looking for a Chemistry Teacher for SSC and HSSC levels in Jamshoro. The teacher must deliver lessons according to the prescribed syllabus, prepare students for board examinations and run practical laboratory sessions. The role focuses on individual teaching effectiveness and does not include team management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clear, engaging chemistry lessons for SSC and HSSC students following the prescribed syllabus.
• Prepare students for board examinations through effective teaching and rigorous exam preparation.
• Demonstrate practical experiments and guide students in laboratory work.
• Use spectroscopic analysis techniques such as NMR, IR and UV-Vis to support teaching.
• Assess progress through tests, quizzes and practical evaluations, giving constructive feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive, participatory learning environment.
• Develop supplementary teaching materials and stay up to date with syllabus changes.
• Communicate with students, parents and school administration about academic and behavioural matters.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem solving with complex questions and practical applications.

Required profile

• Previous teaching experience at SSC and HSSC levels.
• A relevant academic qualification in chemistry.
• Strong command of chemistry concepts and practical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and effective classroom management.
