Chief Commercial Officer

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Chief Commercial Officer to lead Zong5G’s mass‑market and consumer business in Pakistan. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the end‑to‑end commercial strategy, marketing, sales and distribution, driving sustainable growth of the core mobile business while launching new 5G, FTTH and digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for the mass‑market segment, ensuring revenue, customer and market‑share targets are met.
• Optimize pricing, tariff and proposition management to maximise value of the existing mobile portfolio.
• Lead the go‑to‑market and monetisation of 5G, FTTH/home broadband, intelligent services and other digital products.
• Provide strategic direction to the nationwide sales and distribution network, improving channel productivity and omni‑channel performance.
• Steer brand strategy, marketing communications and consumer engagement to strengthen Zong’s market positioning.
• Champion the use of AI, advanced analytics and automation to enhance commercial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in commercial functions within the telecom or related technology sector.
• Track record of delivering revenue growth, market‑share expansion and profitable business performance.
• Strong understanding of mobile, 5G, broadband and digital service ecosystems.
• Excellent strategic thinking, customer‑centric mindset and ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams.
