About the role

Fulcrum Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a senior finance leader to head the finance function for its banking client. The role combines strategic financial oversight with hands‑on management of budgeting, forecasting and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance function, including planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee profitability, liquidity, capital management and asset‑liability management.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, accounting standards, tax requirements and other regulatory frameworks.
• Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO, Board and senior management.
• Drive cost optimisation, financial efficiency and profitability improvement.
• Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, tax authorities and key stakeholders.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and risk management practices.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of progressive experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Mandatory experience in digital banking with strong understanding of digital operations, products, platforms and financial models.
• Proven experience at CFO, Group CFO, Head of Finance or equivalent senior finance role.
• Strong knowledge of banking finance, SBP regulations, capital adequacy, liquidity, ALM, taxation and financial reporting.
• Excellent strategic, analytical, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• CA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
