Chief Human Resources Officer

About the role

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Karachi is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer to lead its people function. The successful candidate will develop HR strategies, strengthen organizational culture, ensure compliance and align talent initiatives with business objectives. The vacancy is advertised by HR Capital Consultants, an HR consultancy active across Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's HR strategy, policies, procedures and annual HR plans.
• Lead performance management, talent acquisition, succession planning and employee engagement initiatives.
• Oversee compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, HR operations and employee services.
• Manage workforce planning, organizational development, training and career progression programs.
• Advise senior management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, organizational structure and people-related risks.

Required profile

• Masters degree with a specialization in HRM, preferably with an SHRM, CHRM or SPHR certification.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar HR leadership capacity, or at least 6 years as Head of Human Resources in a reputable organization.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other regulated industries is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience in performance management, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, HR operations, employee relations and HRIS implementation and administration.
• Excellent communication, administrative and team management skills.
