Chief of Staff to the CEO

About the role

Threads & Motifs, a fast‑growing South Asian women’s fashion brand, is looking for a Chief of Staff to the CEO. Based in Karachi, you will act as the CEO’s trusted partner, ensuring that strategic priorities are executed across stores, production, e‑commerce and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the CEO’s direction into concrete actions – resolve production delays, drive marketing deliverables, fix e‑commerce issues and follow up with vendors.
• Provide daily and weekly updates on operational performance, highlighting successes, challenges and hidden risks.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure that agreed priorities are implemented on the ground.
• Represent the CEO in meetings, hold team members accountable to deadlines and act as the CEO’s proxy when needed.
• Identify and surface emerging problems such as inventory shortages, performance gaps or supplier issues before they become crises.
• Lead special projects, from store initiatives to vendor negotiations, with full ownership.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in fashion retail, with exposure to production, retail operations or e‑commerce.
• Highly motivated, energetic and eager to grow quickly.
• Absolute trustworthiness and discretion with confidential business information.
• Proactive finisher who closes loops without needing repeated direction.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and switching between warehouse floors and digital marketing reviews.
• Strong written communication skills for clear, honest updates to the CEO.
• Based in Karachi or willing to relocate, with flexibility to travel to other store locations.
