Chinese Translator/Interpreter

About the role

Finleap is seeking an experienced Chinese Translator/Interpreter to bridge communication between its Chinese headquarters and local teams in Islamabad. The role involves real-time interpretation and document translation across Mandarin, English and Urdu for HR, management and operational contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate real-time and consecutive interpretation between Mandarin Chinese, English and Urdu during meetings, interviews and employee discussions.
• Translate business, HR, operational and management documents, including policies, reports, presentations, emails and official communications.
• Support Chinese management in meetings and business engagements, ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Assist with cross-cultural communication, resolve language-related misunderstandings and offer administrative coordination as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, Communications or a related field, preferably obtained in China.
• HSK Level 6 certification (required) and HSKK Advanced (strongly preferred).
• Minimum 3–4 years of professional translation/interpretation experience, with fluency in Mandarin, English and Urdu.
• Experience working with Chinese management or Chinese companies in Pakistan is an advantage.
• Strong confidentiality, professionalism and cross-cultural awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with translation tools.
