Civil Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Takmeel Square is looking for a technically capable Civil Quantity Surveyor to strengthen project cost control, measurement, billing, and commercial management. The role converts drawings, quantities, rates, contracts, and site progress into reliable financial information for management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take‑offs, estimates and cost plans.
• Measure executed work against approved drawings and actual site progress.
• Verify contractor and subcontractor running bills / IPCs.
• Prepare detailed rate analyses for materials and construction activities.
• Evaluate quotations, variation orders, additional works, claims and change requests.
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify deviations.
• Maintain measurement sheets, billing records and commercial documentation.
• Assist procurement with quantity verification and commercial evaluation.
• Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Finance, Site and Project Management teams.
• Prepare periodic cost‑to‑complete and commercial reports for management.

Required profile

• BSc/BE in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong command of BOQs, quantity take‑offs, billing, rate analysis and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings.
• Understanding of contracts, variations, claims and contractor billing.
• Experience in high‑rise, commercial or large‑scale developments preferred.
