Cloud Infrastructure Operations Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Operations Lead to oversee enterprise‑scale Linux and cloud environments supporting critical telecom and enterprise projects. The role combines hands‑on L3 technical work with leadership of infrastructure operations teams to ensure high availability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams responsible for Linux systems, virtualization, cloud platforms and datacenter operations.
• Ensure SLA compliance, high availability and minimal downtime for production workloads.
• Perform L3 administration, troubleshooting and support for RHEL 7/8/9 on physical and virtual infrastructures.
• Plan and execute RHEL in‑place upgrades, migrations (physical‑to‑virtual, VM‑to‑VM) using Leapp.
• Administer Red Hat Satellite, Insights, OpenShift, Red Hat Virtualization and clustering technologies.
• Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter and VROPs, including storage zoning and resource provisioning.
• Operate AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, ELB/ALB, Transit Gateway, Auto Scaling, CloudTrail and VPN solutions.
• Design and implement automation with Ansible Automation Platform and Bash scripting.
• Maintain monitoring, logging and security tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Nessus, Splunk, Carbon Black, Cisco AMP).
• Oversee SAN/NAS/NFS storage, Huawei storage, Commvault backups and identity management integrations.

Required profile

• Strong background in Linux systems administration (RHEL) at an L3 level.
• Proven experience leading infrastructure operations teams.
• Hands‑on expertise with Red Hat ecosystem, VMware and AWS cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage critical production environments and incident response.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
