Cloud Infrastructure Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to support a global AI leader on a contract basis. The role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production infrastructure that powers next‑generation AI models. This is a fully remote position offering flexible hours and an hourly rate of $25‑$50.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support production systems, including servers, containers, storage, and networks to ensure high availability.
• Respond quickly to incidents and alerts, leading resolution efforts to minimise downtime.
• Manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and oversee container orchestration with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to drive automation and improve system reliability.
• Maintain and enhance internal tooling and platform services for better performance and user experience.

Required profile

• Strong background in Linux system administration.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to act swiftly on operational alerts.
• Effective communication and teamwork with cross‑functional technical teams.
