Commercial Project Manager – Karachi

About the role

Siemens is looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join its Smart Infrastructure team in Karachi. The role combines commercial control with project management to ensure profitable delivery of digital power distribution and building infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Control and manage the commercial aspects of orders and projects, including order booking in SAP, revenue recognition, cost planning and insurance arrangements.
• Monitor planned versus actual costs at project and WBS level, update calculations, ensure timely invoicing and collection, and produce regular project reports.
• Support business lines in monthly and quarterly forecasting of net sales, gross margin and cash flow.
• Assess project provisions, accruals and risk contingencies in line with IFRS, and manage opportunity and risk mitigation.
• Handle claims, change orders and contract reviews, performing commercial analysis of customer and supplier agreements.
• Drive profitability improvement initiatives and propose digitalisation ideas for business analysis.
• Assist internal and external audits and execute project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial project management within infrastructure, energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to compare budgets, forecasts and actuals.
• Good understanding of IFRS accounting principles and risk management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with project managers, finance teams and external partners.
