Computer Operator

About the role

Quetta Main Board Works, an electric switchgear manufacturer founded in 1989, is hiring a full-time, on-site Computer Operator in Quetta. The role covers computer operations such as data entry, maintaining digital records and updating databases related to production, inventory and customer orders, while supporting back-office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Data entry and maintenance of digital records
• Updating databases for production, inventory and customer orders
• Preparing reports and printing and organizing documents
• Coordinating information flow between departments
• Accurately typing documents and monitoring system performance
• Backing up and storing files and records properly
• Communicating with supervisors and colleagues to resolve data issues and clarify instructions

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in computer applications or office administration is an advantage
• Prior experience in a similar computer operator or back office role, especially in an industrial or manufacturing environment, is preferred but not mandatory
• Attention to detail, time management and the ability to stay accurate under deadlines

Required skills

• Strong computer operations and back office operations skills
• Solid computer literacy and typing skills with office software and spreadsheets
• Effective communication skills
• Basic knowledge of office productivity tools (word processing and spreadsheet applications) is beneficial
