Consultant – Social Enterprise Development and Community Engagement

About the role

This consultancy supports FATA University and Kohat University in designing and delivering a youth‑focused programme on social enterprise, community engagement and leadership. The consultant will create training materials, mentor student teams, and ensure the successful launch of youth‑led initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Produce a Service Inception report and detailed implementation workplan for both universities.
• Develop contextualised training modules, facilitator guides, participant handouts, exercises, mentoring tools and assessment formats.
• Deliver structured training on youth leadership, community engagement and social enterprise development to selected student cohorts.
• Provide ongoing mentorship to student teams developing youth‑led initiatives and social‑enterprise concepts.
• Support at least two initiatives through university incubation or innovation processes, based on cohort performance.
• Maintain training attendance records, pre‑ and post‑assessment results, feedback analysis, mentoring logs and documentation of student outputs.
• Prepare a final consultancy report summarising results, challenges, lessons learned, success stories, recommendations and sustainability options.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social‑enterprise development, community engagement or youth‑leadership programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training modules for university‑level audiences.
• Strong facilitation and mentorship skills with a track record of supporting student‑led projects.
• Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities.
