Costing Executive

About the role

The company seeks a detail‑oriented Costing Executive to support factory costing activities. The role involves accurate collection, validation, recording and reconciliation of production and cost data.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and validate production, material and process data from assigned factory areas.
• Record production quantities, material consumption, RM, components, parts, WIP and FG movements.
• Track labour hours, machine hours, wastage, rejection, rework, scrap and abnormal losses.
• Validate material issuance against production output and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain daily process‑wise costing sheets, supporting schedules and working papers.
• Reconcile costing records with Production and Warehouse documentation.
• Prepare daily operating and costing MIS for assigned process areas.
• Support batch‑wise and model‑wise cost accumulation, including BOM and material usage records.
• Identify unusual consumption, shortages, process losses and other cost variances.
• Assist with physical stock counts, inventory reconciliation and month‑end cost closing.
• Enter and validate costing and production data in Odoo and compare manual records during ERP transition.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com, BBA Finance, MBA Finance, ACMA or ACCA student or equivalent qualification.
• 2+ years of experience in costing, factory accounts, production accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Experience in product costing, material consumption, inventory reconciliation and production data preferred.

• ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a plus)
