Credit Relationship Manager – Corporate & Investment Banking

About the role

The Credit Relationship Manager will support the Corporate & Investment Banking Group by analysing credit risk, structuring facilities and preparing credit proposals for corporate clients. The role works closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk Management and the Compliance Unit to ensure high‑quality, timely decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, credit risk assessment and risk rating for assigned corporate relationships.
• Prepare and review Credit Proposals (new, renewals, amendments) and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Liaise with Credit Risk Management, Compliance and Credit Control to resolve risk and compliance queries.
• Review deal structures, credit products and provide business solutions within risk guidelines.
• Monitor exposures, RAROC, profitability and portfolio quality, reporting early alerts to supervisors.
• Step in for Relationship Managers during absences and provide guidance to the team.
• Ensure adherence to lending guidelines, credit policies and regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of experience in credit or financial analysis within banking or a related field.
• Degree in Business, Economics or related discipline; postgraduate diploma or Chartered Accountancy is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of local market, banking products and operating systems.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Familiarity with banking laws, regulations and anti‑money‑laundering requirements.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
