Data Analyst II

About the role

The Data Analyst II will join Motive's Post Sales Organization, working closely with Customer Support and product teams to deliver high‑quality reporting and analytics. You will build scalable dashboards, enable data‑driven decisions, and ensure leadership has visibility into critical KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using HEX, Retool, and Salesforce native reporting tools.
• Write advanced SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets across multiple systems.
• Partner with Customer Support, Product, Services, and Sales Engineering leaders to translate business needs into clear data requirements and insights.
• Drive data consistency and accuracy across reporting platforms to ensure leadership visibility into KPIs.
• Provide deep‑dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and process improvement areas.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives by building scalable, automated reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to ensure alignment on data sources, definitions, and governance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of KPIs for pre‑ and post‑sales functions such as support, sales engineering, services, and customer onboarding.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to present insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• SQL for querying and data transformation.
• HEX or Retool for dashboard development.
• Salesforce reporting/dashboards.
• Python or R for data manipulation and automation.
