Data Analyst – Power BI Specialist

About the role

Systems Limited seeks a highly skilled Data Analyst with deep expertise in the Power BI ecosystem to design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end business intelligence solutions that enable data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI Dataflows, data models, and semantic models.
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation using Power Query, M Language, SQL, VBA and related tools.
• Design fact and dimension tables, and implement Star or Snowflake schemas.
• Diagnose and enhance existing Excel‑based reports, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Create, enhance, and sustain Power BI reports and dashboards throughout the full lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions.
• Support continuous improvement and leverage AI tools to boost productivity and reporting outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, IT, Analytics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 + years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or Power BI development.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and engage proactively with users.

Required skills

• Power BI Dataflows, Power Query, M Language, DAX, Semantic Models.
• VBA, Regex, Alteryx (advantage).
• Data visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio.
• Data sources: Excel, SharePoint Lists, SQL databases.
• Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps.
• Azure data and analytics services.
• Python, R (knowledge).
• Exposure to AI‑powered analytics tools.
