Data Scientist - Advanced Analytics

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist with advanced analytics expertise to help clients transform their hybrid cloud and AI journeys. You will combine deep data‑science knowledge with strong business acumen to solve complex challenges, build predictive models and drive data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and orchestrate Agentic AI solutions using autonomous agents, workflows, and LLM frameworks.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs and data platforms to automate business processes.
• Develop traditional predictive models in Python to forecast trends and recommend optimizations.
• Apply mathematical optimization, discrete‑event simulation and predictive analytics to extract actionable insights.
• Manipulate and visualise data using Pandas, NumPy, Dask and tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Plotly.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven experience in AI/ML solution delivery.
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices, prompt engineering and AI governance.

• Python programming.
• Pandas, NumPy, Dask.
• Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly.
• Microsoft Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Prompt Flow).
• PowerApps (preferred).
• Generative and Agentic AI frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen.
• Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI governance.
• Mathematical optimization, discrete‑event simulation, predictive analytics.
