DC Specialist

About the role

foodpanda, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a DC Specialist to manage daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory integrity and lead a high‑performing floor team.

Key responsibilities

• Run a fixed daily rhythm covering floor walk, shift huddle, KPI review, receiving oversight, dispatch supervision and end‑of‑day handover.
• Oversee inbound receiving, putaway, picking, quality control and dispatch to guarantee timely and complete deliveries to dark stores.
• Manage store transfers, maintain fill rate targets and keep cancelled or reverse transfers at zero.
• Own monthly cycle counts, approve adjustments and enforce location‑based inventory compliance.
• Share expiring SKU lists with the commercial team and handle QC checks, invoice uploads and daily KPI reporting.
• Lead, coach and schedule supervisors and floor staff, ensuring competence and attendance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse, distribution or inventory operations, including supervising large floor teams.
• Proven track record in inventory accuracy, cycle counts and shrinkage control.
• Strong judgment for escalation and ability to follow a fixed daily routine.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a high‑volume, time‑sensitive environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets for daily KPI tracking and reporting.
