Department Manager – Office & Media

About the role

As a Department Manager for Office & Media, you will lead a team of Store Associates to ensure optimal stock levels, attractive merchandising, and smooth daily operations. You will work closely with the Floor Manager to meet sales targets and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Floor Manager in ordering stock and maintaining optimal inventory.
• Lead Store Associates in mass merchandising, shelf and stock management, and department cleanliness.
• Drive productivity improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare the department for opening by following Dark Store Operations (DSO) protocols.
• Ensure product presentation follows planograms and BMPL guidelines.
• Enforce SOPs, compliance, time‑keeping, and uniform standards.
• Conduct QA checks, monitor expiries, and apply FIFO principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or intermediate education.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in retail or department management.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
