Deputy Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Deputy Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis will lead the finance team in managing the company’s budgeting, reporting and inventory finance processes. This role ensures accurate financial statements, supports audit activities and drives improvements in the inventory management system.

Key responsibilities

• Review and suggest improvements for the inventory management system and related process flows (production, dispatch, wastage, etc.).
• Coordinate with the Bizz Trax support team to resolve system issues, implement change requests and lead new module roll‑outs.
• Prepare and finalise quarterly and annual accounts, including capex planning and variance reporting.
• Develop systemised budgeting processes and produce supporting schedules for month‑end close.
• Identify and highlight internal control weaknesses in current processes.
• Review and approve payments, receipts, journal vouchers, invoices and sales orders in the accounting system.
• Maintain the Chart of Accounts and oversee the financial section of the printed annual report.
• Monitor raw material, consumables and packing material inventories, reconcile physical stock with system balances and manage fixed‑asset accounting.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.

Required profile

• Professional qualification: ACCA.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or financial planning.
