Design Coordinator – Architecture & Drafting

About the role

We are looking for a Design Coordinator to support architectural and drafting activities for commercial and residential projects in Rawalpindi. The role bridges architects, engineers and contractors to ensure design quality and project compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop and refine design concepts.
• Produce accurate architectural drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants to maintain design integrity and compliance.
• Assist in preparing construction documents, specifications and material analysis.
• Review building codes and integrate them into design and planning.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines to meet deadlines.
• Provide technical support during construction to resolve design issues.
• Conduct site visits to verify that plans match actual conditions.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in architectural design or drafting on commercial or residential projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Professional certification or licensure as an architect or drafter (a plus).
• Proven ability to manage several projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and building‑code requirements.
• Portfolio demonstrating previous design and drafting work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD programs.
• Experience using BIM software and 3D modeling tools.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
