DevOps Engineer – Part-Time Remote (Lahore based)

About the role

Linvex Solutions is looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure of its AI‑driven product. This part‑time, remote role (based in Lahore) will let you design, build, and maintain the cloud environment from pre‑launch through production, working directly with the CEO and the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document, and evolve the AWS architecture for staging and production.
• Manage and optimise compute, networking, database and storage resources with cost and reliability in mind.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for web and backend services.
• Separate and promote environments (local, staging, production) safely.
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for uptime, error rates, latency and job queues.
• Handle secrets and credentials securely, ensuring no keys are stored in repositories.
• Track AWS and LLM API spend, flagging anomalies before invoicing.
• Set up backup and recovery processes and test restores regularly.
• Enforce security basics such as HTTPS, dependency scanning, access control and least‑privilege policies.
• Support developers with environment issues, deployment failures and tooling friction.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on DevOps or infrastructure experience, preferably in a start‑up or small‑team setting.
• Deep, practical expertise with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, load balancing) and the ability to design secure, cost‑efficient architectures.
• Experience acting as an AWS architect, not just an operator.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
