DevOps Engineer (SRE-focused)

About the role

Qureos is building an AI‑native hiring platform and needs a mid‑level DevOps Engineer with a strong SRE focus to keep its production systems reliable and performant as the company scales globally.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, including container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Cloud Run) to deliver code safely and quickly.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus, and New Relic.
• Define and own SLOs/SLIs, error budgets, and lead incident response as incident commander.
• Run blameless post‑mortems and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Administer and optimise MongoDB, handling backup and disaster recovery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Python/Bash scripts and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Participate in on‑call rotations and collaborate with development, QA, and engineering teams on production issues.

Required profile

• Mid‑level DevOps/SRE experience with end‑to‑end production ownership.
• Hands‑on expertise in GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, GKE).
• Comfortable managing Docker, Kubernetes, and MongoDB in production.
• Strong debugging methodology: observe, hypothesise, validate with data.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
