Director of Information Security

About the role

The Authority is seeking a senior leader to shape and execute its information security, cybersecurity and data protection strategy. Reporting to senior management, the Director will safeguard digital platforms, critical infrastructure and data assets while ensuring compliance with national cyber‑security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise‑wide information security and cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational goals and national policies.
• Establish and maintain security policies, standards, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Lead risk identification, assessment and mitigation across cloud environments, networks, applications and data assets.
• Oversee security monitoring, incident response, business continuity and cyber‑resilience capabilities.
• Ensure compliance through audits, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and timely corrective actions.
• Drive data protection, privacy, identity‑and‑access‑management and secure information‑sharing initiatives.
• Coordinate with ministries, regulators, national cyber agencies, partners and vendors on security matters.
• Build, mentor and lead high‑performing security teams and promote a strong security culture.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
