Director of Infrastructure Engineering (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Infrastructure Engineering to lead a high‑performance team in designing, building and operating global infrastructure platforms. This remote, full‑time position reports to senior leadership and supports rapid innovation for a leading technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise cloud, networking and security infrastructure at a global scale.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of engineers delivering high‑impact infrastructure solutions.
• Define and enforce infrastructure standards, policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align road‑maps with business objectives.
• Ensure 24/7 availability, performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and incident response.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure teams in fast‑paced tech environments.
• Strong background in networking, security and compliance frameworks.
• Track record of scaling systems for high‑growth applications.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
