Draftsman – Quantity Control Drawings

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman who specializes in quantity control drawings to support our construction projects. The successful candidate will create precise, detailed drawings that align with project specifications and material requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings focused on quantity control.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather requirements and clarify scope.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and specification changes.
• Use CAD software to create and modify design layouts.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and local regulations.
• Maintain organized records of drafts and revisions.
• Coordinate with procurement to align designs with material specifications.
• Assist in preparing quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of drafting experience, preferably with quantity control drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and local building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using AutoCAD (preferred).
