Electrical AutoCAD Draftsman

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to prepare accurate electrical drawings and technical designs for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop electrical design drawings for power, lighting, ELV, and low‑current systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), panel schedules, cable routing, and load schedules.
• Coordinate with estimation, engineering, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Revise drawings based on client comments and project requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and design records.
• Assist in preparing BOQs and material take‑offs from drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting or electrical design.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, ELV, and low‑current designs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in preparing shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
