Electrical Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Manager leads the Electrical Department to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of plant equipment. The role involves planning, scheduling and executing both planned and unplanned maintenance while managing budgets, procurement and service contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Department for maintenance of all electrical assets in a combined‑cycle power plant.
• Plan, schedule and execute maintenance activities, prepare budgets and manage procurement.
• Train, develop and supervise the electrical team, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
• Assist the DGM Electrical in departmental administration, KPI tracking and RIR recommendations.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Performance and Maintenance departments to meet availability and reliability targets.
• Conduct performance reviews, manage leave, overtime and staff deployment for odd‑hour shifts.
• Implement and enforce safety programs and job qualification criteria for the electrical section.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑5 years of experience in a Combined Cycle Power Plant, preferably as Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager.
• Strong knowledge of power plant processes, hazards, maintenance planning and energy management.
• Familiarity with local industrial regulations, power purchase agreements and commercial contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook and CMMS/SAP systems.

• Power plant operations (combined‑cycle).
• Electrical equipment: transformers, MV/HV switchgear, GIS, protection relays, LV/HV systems, LV/MV motors and generators.
• Power purchase agreements and long‑term service contracts.
• CMMS/SAP for maintenance management.
• Microsoft Office and Outlook.
