Electrical Systems Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis, supporting a global engineering services leader. The role involves overseeing electrical system installations, performing diagnostics, and ensuring safety compliance across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute field operations for system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70E, OSHA and local electrical safety regulations.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial settings using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical system diagnostics and field operations within industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including occasional overnight stays.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA and local electrical safety regulations.
• Hands‑on use of multimeters, oscilloscopes and thermal imagers.
