Electronics Lab Technician

About the role

Utopia Industries is seeking a skilled Electronics Lab Technician to join its industrial maintenance team in Karachi. You will work hands‑on with a variety of electronic equipment, ensuring reliable operation and quick fault resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electronic equipment such as VFDs, servo drives, inverters, UPS, PLCs, HMIs, SMPS and control cards.
• Perform fault diagnosis, soldering and component‑level repairs.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and circuit diagrams.
• Operate testing instruments including multimeters, oscilloscopes and signal generators.
• Maintain accurate repair logs and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Intermediate or Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electronics or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with VFDs, servo drives, solar inverters, PLCs and SMPS.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance, especially in plastic‑metal export‑oriented environments.
