Executive Billing & Collections Manager

About the role

The Executive Billing & Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete billing cycle, ensuring revenue completeness, billing accuracy, and compliance with contractual obligations. This role partners with sales, engineering, and operations to deliver timely invoices and secure collections.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate and consolidate all billing‑related data, including CP bills, DG hours, grid categorisation, SLA breaches and tenancy changes.
• Coordinate with internal departments to guarantee completeness and accuracy of invoicing information.
• Prepare and upload customer invoices to portals and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and COUPA.
• Monitor invoice status, follow up on outstanding receivables and ensure collections within agreed credit terms.
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes and discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, collections and related correspondence.
• Produce AR aging, collection status and other management reports on a regular basis.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing by preparing accruals, validating billing cut‑offs and reconciling revenue.
• Identify potential revenue leakage and ensure compliance with contracts and financial controls.

Required profile

• BBA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification in Finance/Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in billing, collections, revenue assurance or accounts receivable.
• Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure or shared‑services environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Familiarity with COUPA or similar procurement/ERP platforms.
