Expert Python Engineer

About the role

Ciklum is seeking an Expert Python Engineer to join its Pakistan team on a full‑time basis. You will work within a cross‑functional group delivering a digital transformation project for a leading global audit and advisory firm, focusing on modernising the tax‑lifecycle technology stack.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices across the project.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure high‑quality, maintainable Python code.
• Design, develop and optimise scalable FastAPI applications, including async and parallel processing.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and document code, processes and workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with FastAPI and Python async programming (asyncio).
• Experience building AI‑driven applications using Generative AI, LLMs and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen or Crew AI.
• Proficiency with Pydantic for data validation and with non‑relational databases like MongoDB.
