Faculty Member – Hospitality & Tourism Management

About the role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated faculty member for the Hospitality and Tourism Management department at Roots International Schools in Lahore. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching, developing course materials, mentoring students, and supporting academic and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
• Develop lesson plans, course content, assessments and learning resources.
• Supervise student projects, internships and research activities.
• Maintain academic records and ensure compliance with institutional standards.
• Foster industry linkages and support curriculum enhancement initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (minimum) in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
• Relevant teaching experience in higher education.
• Industry experience in hospitality, tourism, hotel operations or travel management is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in academic technologies and learning management systems.
