Field Sales Officer

About the role

The Field Sales Officer will represent Amreli Steel on the market, building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective customers. This role involves daily visits to client sites, promoting our steel products, and ensuring smooth order processing from quotation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Visit markets daily to develop strong business relationships and update daily reports for both existing and new customers.
• Promote Amreli Steel products and solutions to corporate customers, contractors, consultants, developers, and industrial clients.
• Generate leads, identify new clients, and follow up on sales opportunities to convert prospects into customers.
• Prepare sales orders, pro‑forma invoices, and quotations as required.
• Coordinate with the Sales Head on rates, terms, and conditions for customer quotations.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances, follow up daily, and resolve payment issues.
• Handle customer complaints, coordinating with relevant departments for timely resolution.
• Resolve invoice issues and edit documents in collaboration with finance and operations teams.
• Coordinate logistics for order execution, including material sorting and vehicle arrangement.
• Liaise with the Accounts department for online payments, invoicing, refunds, broker commissions, and related matters.
• Perform any other sales‑related assignments delegated by the reporting manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the steel or industrial sector.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a daily route, and meet sales targets.
• Good organizational skills for handling documentation, logistics, and follow‑ups.
